Privacy policy
Summary
Your images never leave your device. PasteMarkCopy works entirely in your browser. Only if you allow it do we use Google Analytics to count how the tool is used – never what you paste or draw.
Who is responsible
PasteMarkCopy (pastemarkcopy.com) is run by Mikael Holmström, a private individual in Sweden, who is the data controller for the processing described here. Contact: support@pastemarkcopy.com.
Your images and history
Images you paste, upload or drop, the marks you draw and your history are processed and stored only in your browser on your own device (IndexedDB). They are never sent to us or to anyone else, and we have no access to them. You can delete them at any time in the history list, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
Settings stored on your device
Your language choice and your cookie choice are saved in your browser’s local storage so the site works the way you asked. They never leave your device.
Usage statistics – only with your consent
If you click Allow, the site loads Google Analytics 4. It sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) and collects: pages viewed; events such as which buttons are used (for example paste, copy, download, chosen file format and language); approximate location derived from your IP address (country and city level); device, browser and screen information; and the referring page. Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses of users in the EU. Advertising features and Google signals are switched off. Image content, file names and drawn marks are never sent.
Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and the Swedish Electronic Communications Act). If you decline, Google Analytics is not loaded at all. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie settings at the bottom of the start page; withdrawing consent removes the analytics cookies.
Recipient: Google Ireland Ltd, acting as processor. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Event-level data is kept for 2 months; aggregated reports that do not identify you may be kept longer.
Hosting
The site is delivered by Cloudflare, Inc., which processes technical data such as your IP address to serve the pages and protect them against abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
If you email us, your address and message are used only to reply and are deleted when no longer needed.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because your images and history never leave your device, we cannot see or delete them for you – you control them directly. Contact support@pastemarkcopy.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.

This page is updated if anything changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
